Water Talk

Contaminated water is still the primary cause of death in the world. Each year, it leads to deadly illnesses, such as cholera, typhoid and malaria, for some eight million people, including 1.5 million children. To speak out against this tragedy in a totally new way, the humanitarian aid organisation Solidarités International put together a revolutionary public event, featuring a talking wall of water. This temporary installation conveyed poignant messages specifically intended to capture the attention of passers-by, just before World Water Day on 22 March 2010.
