Wasanbon: Umi-no-uta
The Wasanbon sugar recipe was established 300 years ago at the Mitani sugar factory in Japan by using selected sugarcane and complicated handwork. The challenge was how to represent this excellent material. We chose to focus on the idea of blessings of nature. Each cake is a cone formed by dropping sugar particles, and the arranged cakes seem to ripple.
