The World of Autism

To educate parents about the signs of autism, Autism Speaks created a world inspired by the stories and experiences of real children affected by autism. A world where lights are brighter, sounds are louder and even toys can be scary. The world was built as a scale model in a studio; A combination of fabricated props and natural materials gave each scene a tactile handcrafted feel, and helped portray the different signs of autism in a universal way. As result, Autism Speaks was in the news, in the web, and most importantly, in the minds of those who most needed to hear the message.
