The Verge

The Verge is an art project based on documentary photographic materials from the Second World War. After working in various photography archives, Arthur Bondar came up with the idea of tracing the lives of individuals during this period. Previously unknown negatives from Soviet and German sources allow us to see the everyday realities of the war from both sides.
