We wanted to show in a humorous way how important it can be to speak other languages. A recruit in the German Coastguard is listening to the radio. Suddenly, he hears the signal from an English ship in distress, "May day, may day, we are sinking!"<br/>He speaks into the microphone announcing the German Coastguard with a strong German stress, &#8220;Hello, zhis ist zhe German Coaztgard.&#8221; <br/>The ship repeats in distress, &#8220;May day, we are sinking, we are sinking.&#8221; <br/>The recruit then answers, &#8220;Whatz are you sinking about?&#8221;
