The Food Chain

For our money issue, we had the opportunity to capture the spirit of the times with a story in three parts by three different artists. The series of three covers was entitled ‘The Food Chain’. The first cover, by Daniel Clowes, depicts a bejewelled lady puzzling over the choices at a fast food restaurant. In Zohar Lazar’s cover, she’s headed to her limo with her food and servants. But the reader who may initially have felt sorry for the lady is in for a surprise; when turning to the last cover, by Mark Ulriksen, we see the lady at home feeding her dog the meal.
