The Democratic Lecture
The Democratic Lecture
‘The Democratic Lecture’ is a lecture initiative led by designer Craig Oldham, handing over the decision of the lecture content to the audience. The idea is very simple: the top five voted-for topics (out of a possible 40) get covered in the lecture, meaning that the audience receives a bespoke lecture based on its needs, worries, concerns and interests. Voting takes place through a dedicated website, and is supported by bespoke promotional posters and items, including a book of the entire 40 lectures.
