Teleologies

‘Teleologies’, is a reference to old Greek philosophy and Aristotle: ‘A teleology is any philosophical account that holds that final causes exist in nature, meaning that design and purpose analogous to that found in human actions are inherent also in the rest of nature’. By having real leaves cast into the vinyl we wanted to take a physical proof of time and preserve it for the future. Is this the first time anyone has cast organic matter (a readymade from nature) into a vinyl record? We wonder.
