Tamabi

TAMABI is a nickname for the Tama Art University, one of the top art schools in Japan. These official advertisements needed to incorporate the university's slogan 'MADE BY HANDS' while articulating its guiding principle of creating challenging, avant-garde and novel work. We produced a broad range of different visuals in a simple format with a limited selection of motifs. The series consists of around 100 variations and a majority of them include the university's slogan. We tried to represent the school’s innovative approach to art and design with images that are both striking and dynamic.
