Sister Hearts
Sister Hearts
For Square's first ever brand campaign it relayed its mission to empower anyone to succeed on their own terms. The challenge was finding stories from its community of sellers that shared this mission. One such seller is Maryam Henderson-Uloho who spent 13 years in prison in Louisiana. After her release, she sold items on the streets of New Orleans to survive. Four years later, Maryam runs Sister Hearts, a thrift store that's also a re-entry facility for ex-offenders.
