Possible Futures

This catalogue is for the exhibition, ‘Possible Futures: Japanese Post War Art and Technology,’ held at NTT Inter Communication Centre (ICC), from 21 October to 25 December 2005. The exhibition thus offers a valuable opportunity to engage in an interdisciplinary review of Japanese post war art, spanning imaging, sound, and other domains, and to examine the many trends, from industry to the counterculture, that contribute to contemporary artists work. The two distinctive typefaces that appear in the exhibition title, symbolise the past and the future. The cover of the catalogue can be slid open and the two types of typography mix and separate to look like a motion picture.
