China UnionPay has built the first "Garbage Exchange for Daily Necessities Supermarket" on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. Transforming trash into a unique 'currency' to encourage Tibetans to gather garbage and buy daily essentials, thus protecting the plateau's environment. In order to spread such a beautiful and benevolent act, we invited a documentary photographer to capture the authentic moments of Tibetans picking up garbage.
