Leading Thai bank TMB has launched a new brand vision, ‘Make THE Difference’, by creating a piece of communication that hopes to inspire people to start to make the difference in their own world. This film tells the story of a group of boys from Panyee island who pursued their dream of becoming world champions, despite having nowhere to practice. They made a football pitch out of rafts and learnt to play on the uneven, slippery surface. The team decided to take part in a one-day tournament and the rest of the village, admiring their determination, bought them new kits for the competition. They reached the semi-final and, through their inspirational success, football has become Panyee’s number one pastime. Now they will have a smooth new pitch with no nails in it.
