Nazis Against Nazis
Nazis Against Nazis
For 15 years, EXIT-Deutschland has been helping neo-Nazis escape the far-right community. But the NGO receives too little attention and too few donations. Every year, neo-Nazis from across Europe flock to the small German town of Wunsiedel in pilgrimage. Constanze Spross aimed to solve both problems by turning the neo-Nazi's annual march into something positive: a charity walk. For every metre the neo-Nazis walked, 10 went to EXIT-Deutschland. Participants were left with two choices: sponsor their own downfall or abandon the march through Wunsiedel for the very first time. Motivated by banners and bananas that subverted their own message, the neo-Nazis went the distance and unwillingly raised 10,000 for EXIT-Deutschland to help their own members abandon the scene.
