Moscow Design Museum

The Moscow Design Museum is very distinctive. Firstly, it’s the first design museum in Russia. Secondly, instead of a conventional fixed museum, the Moscow Design Museum started out as a driving pop up museum – a bus. The identity is based on the patterns of Russian crystal, a well-known material in Russian design history. The glass is recognisable to all Russians, which helps emphasise that the museum is open to everyone. The geometric figures form the basis for a dynamic identity that is easy to apply.
