Mehr Raum

Germany's major cities are becoming increasingly dense. Yet there are a number of brownfields in every city – spaces that are unused due to industrial activity, yet can have a sustainable benefit for people and the surrounding neighborhood. Non-profit association Mehr.Raum acts as a link between property owners, city councils, and residents. The platform engages people from the very beginning to build communities around these unused spaces, giving people all the tools to do it themselves and make the spaces accessible as quickly as possible.
