Iraq: The Bloody Circus

More4 presents programme seasons with a strong editorial stance. The brief  for the Iraq season was to push this provocative stance and to cut through any viewer apathy towards the glut of programming about the war.   At the same time,  for such a new digital channel, they needed to continue to push and develop viewers’ expectations of the More4 brand.   The films in the season carry a powerful message about the war in Iraq and ‘The Bloody Circus’ idea dramatises this through the use of the tragic soldier clowns.
