IBM Seer

IBM Seer is a mobile phone app developed for the Wimbledon Championships 2009. The first augmented reality app to use live data, it offers users a real-time digital guide to the tournament. Developed to showcase the work IBM does at Wimbledon, it uses IBM data to provide live coverage of everything happening in and around the grounds. This information is then presented as an overlay on the phone’s camera. As a result, users can point their phone at anything and Seer will tell them what it is and what’s happening there now.
