'The Hopscotch Compendium' not only catalogues the Hopscotch releases, it is also works as device to exhibit Hopscotch's progressive nature and commitment to film. The typographic sculptures are intentionally constructed from real world elements to illustrate Hopscotch's relationship with artful, tangible story-telling. The sculptures relate directly to the Hopscotch trademark and, in turn, to the large interlinking, brand-driven type printed on translucent pages inside the book. The subtle positioning of the Hopscotch brand is unique in an industry dominated by special effects and surround sound, and helps to create an attractive and innately human showpiece.
