Interactive Cologne is digital conference well known among coders and the digitally-savvy. Denkwerk took it to the next level by rousing the interests of people outside this group. The digital agency hosted an event that saw advanced technology coalesce to create an emotional concert experience. The IP addresses of visitors' smartphones were manipulated and transformed into a sequence of notes, which was fed through the Cologne Cathedral organ. At the same time, the smartphones created a light show in the 72 colours of the cathedral's stained glass window.
