Gerber Sippy Snacker

The Gerber Sippy Snacker is a combination spill proof cup and snack container that allows children to have both drink and food at their discretion. The cup portion and snack vessel can be used alone, but have the unique capacity to snap together, allowing for one combined unit to carry both food and drink. The cup portion has a stable bottom, with a rubberised decorative base for durability. The snack portion has a twist-top lid to control excess spillage. Research was conducted to ensure the improved Sippy Snacker design was ergonomically sound. The seven ounce version has a thinner neck for smaller hands to hold, and the neck is angled to prevent young children from tilting their heads too far back. The ten ounce Sippy Snacker holds more liquid to meet older children’s needs. Both cup sizes have a recess in the lid that allows room for a child’s nose, so a child is no longer forced to hold the cup at an uncomfortable angle. The spill-proof performance of the cup was improved through a design that traps the patented spill-proof valve between the lid and the cup, preventing it from slipping out when the cup is dropped.
