Frakcija / Goat Island
Frakcija / Goat Island
The Goat Island/Frakcija magazine fits snugly in a cardboard slipcase, requiring readers to actively engage with the piece from the start. A table of contents offers only a proposed order, so readers can organise the modular essays – each printed in its own booklet, without page numbers – as they see fit. Part one consists of material that inspired or was used for the performance, whereas Part two is a collection of reflections made after the performances combined with photos taken at the rehearsals and actual performances. Goat Island/Frakcija is a work in progress publication that follows the work in progress of a theatrical performance. The dynamic structure of the magazine reflects the performance themes of repair and reversibility whilst intentionally producing shifts in audience perception and interpretation.
