Fontegrafica Calendar

The challenge was to create a calendar that would appropriately represent the worldwide leadership and top quality of Fontegrafica. The calendar is two meters high, and is delivered complete with a small magnifying lens designed specifically for the project. The lens is needed to read the days of the month, which have deliberately been printed too small for the naked eye – an invitation to put the print quality of the 12 images under the microscope. In order to respect the extreme level of detail of the photographs, each image has been printed in ultra high definition, using a combination of conventional and experimental techniques such as pluricolour printing, holography, printing on silver foil and use of shaded, pearled, scented and glittered finishes.
