Flypaper

Currently, the core of American manufacturing companies, like Boeing, is losing engineers to Silicon Valley. How do you rekindle the wonder of flight in young people and inspire them to design planes? By getting them to actually make one. The Flypaper Project reawakened the engineer in all of us, while encouraging prospects to seriously consider an engineering career at Boeing. We created posters that engaged users to create something tangible – a paper airplane. Designed by Boeing engineers, these paper airplanes were turned into the world’s most aerodynamically engineered posters.
