VICE News Tonight obsessed over how to differentiate itself from the crowd of media outlets anticipating the 46th President. Doing so started with the look of the show. The creative team took note of the clichés of cable news graphic design and turned left to visually carry out one of VICE News Tonight’s core missions: to serve as a counter-programme through the election night’s noise.
