Bungay Town FC had a problem: no one had ever heard of it. This was hampering crowd attendance, financial support and player acquisition. The club needed abig idea to make them famous on literally no budget. The idea was a game of football between two teams called Bungay, with 22 players called Bungay played at Bungay Town FC, Bungay, Suffolk. Even the professional referee, linesmen, physio, doctor and mascot were Bungays.
