Bruce Nauman: The True Artist

Inspired by Bruce Nauman's sculpture A Cast of the Space Under My Chair, through which negative space is materialised, the threefold cover for this book of his works is presented inside out. In another take from Nauman's neon works, the book opens like a portfolio to reveal exposed bindings with neon-coloured thread and endpapers. The illustrated book includes full-page reproductions of Nauman's works. Offering context to the reader, the text is accompanied by selections of other art, plus helpful documentary images, illustrated with black tape to reference the atmosphere in the artist's studio.
