Free to air, digital, video iPod, DVD, blah blah blah... who cares? Books endure and provide an in-depth view, free of media magnates' evil agendas. The 2006 Sydney Writers Festival posters pay homage to the classic Penguin paperbacks of the 60s, still loved and found on many bookshelves – unlike unloved old VHS tapes (dare we even mention Betamax?).
