Battles - My Machines

The Daniels wanted to experiment with shooting a video in what appears to be a seamless take. The video tells the story about a guy falling slowly and dramatically down the up escalator at a mall, never able to get up or to reach the bottom. Battles and Gary Numan rock out unconcernedly around him. It’s a sort of modern-age Sisyphean parable disguised as a low-budget music video.
