Balanciaga, l'œuvre au noir

This catalogue for the Balenciaga, L’œuvre au Noir exhibition showcases the life's work of the legendary designer Cristobal Balenciaga. The exhibition appeared at the Musée Bourdelle and was produced with the Palais Galliera. Black cloth with gloss foil stamping, edge painted pages and print techniques were all deployed to achieve a textural black-on-black effect. Subtle typesetting details and stunning black and white photography complete the aesthetic.
