Sky Television asked us to promote the newly discounted price of its Arts Channel. For just $2.95 a week, Sky subscribers could sign up to the Arts Channel and enjoy the lives and works of some of history’s greatest artists. The most talented artists are usually the most tortured; the ones who lose their sanity and often their lives in the pursuit of artistic brilliance. With this in mind, we created radio ads that put into perspective the enormous price these artists paid to create their work, and the comparative pittance Sky subscribers pay to enjoy it.
