The ‘This is SportsCenter’ campaign has always given sports fans a glimpse behind the scenes at the fun, random world at the centre of the sports universe. With anchors interacting with athletes and mascots alike, it’s a fan’s vision of what ESPN’s corporate campus in Bristol, Connecticut is really like. In 2009, the campaign continued to feed sports fans’ appetite for a look inside ESPN’s walls (in the cafeteria, office elevators and copy room, to be exact). The new TV adverts ‘Arnold Palmer’, ‘The Machine’ and ‘Going Up’ became instant classics.
