As the first hospital-wide patient experience app in the UK, Alder Play is revolutionising patient care. Using gaming, chatbots and augmented reality, the app is a companion for young patients throughout their entire journey, reducing stress and anxiety along the way. Developed in collaboration with healthcare experts from Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, Alder Hey Children’s Charity and the young patients – it uses creative technology to re-centre care around the patient.
