A Outrance

This illustrated letterpress book tells of how in the novel Northern Lights by Philip Pullman, the rightful bear-king Iorek Byrnison regained his throne through a fight to death with the false usurper Iofur Raknison, and how the story came to be written. It is limited to only 265 copies and features original woodcut illustrations by Chris Daunt, Harry Brockway and Andy English,three of the greatest woodcut artists working today. All proceeds from the sale of the book go to children made vulnerable by HIV and AIDS in southern Africa.
