Ellena is the Design Director at Howatson+Company, having led design projects on some of the world’s most prestigious brands including Jeep, Allianz, Sapporo and Red Cross. In 2022 she was named #4 Designer on the D&AD global rankings after picking up 9 pencils including two yellow for her work on Matilda Bay Rejected Ales. In 2022 her work on Rejected ales was also awarded a Cannes Silver Lion for Design. Previously Ellena worked at Cummins&Partners, having graduated in 2015 with First Class Honours Degree in Communication Design from Swinburne University.
Ellena has always placed a key focus on mentoring and supporting upcoming designers.
