D&AD Alive. Where creativity lives.
Chaka Sobhani and Sara Dunlop at D&AD Festival 2026
D&AD Alive is where the creative industry comes together to explore the tensions shaping creativity now and defining what comes next.
Next year, D&AD will bring the whole creative community together under one roof: emerging talent taking their first steps into the industry; the agencies and studios making the work; the brands and in-house teams who champion it, commission it and increasingly create it; and the people setting the industry's highest standards for creativity around the world.
D&AD Alive is a place where creativity comes to life. A place to mix, debate, play, learn and make things together. A place where different disciplines, generations and points of view collide and where ideas are challenged, shared and pushed further.
For the first time ever, D&AD Alive opens with the D&AD Awards Ceremony, and the Pencil will be where the conversation starts rather than where it ends. Over the days that follow, we’ll open up creative judgement itself. Meet the judges who debated the work and the winners who made it. Hear why the best work won, what made the difference and what anyone who briefs, buys or builds creative work can learn from it.
Walk through exhibitions of the world’s best creative work and meet the brightest emerging talent. Hear from the masters of traditional craft and the pioneers of new technology. Discover new ideas, new thinking, new tools and new collaborators.
Come to question. Come to learn. Come to connect. Come to celebrate. Come to create. Because creativity doesn’t live in algorithms, formulas or processes. It lives in people, ideas, conversations, arguments, experiments and extraordinary work.
Creativity is Alive. This is where it lives.
