Silicon Valley has two audiences: regular fans, who enjoy the humour and T.J. Miller’s hair, and hardcore fans, who delve deeper into the tech-culture. So we wanted to create a promotion that would announce the new season to the regular fans and reward the really engaged fans with something more. Each of the radio ads was actually one giant URL and if they could enter the whole thing correctly into their internet browser they would score merchandise from the show’s fictitious company, Pied Piper.
