Ad blockers are all about wanting to tailor your online experience, but for some people, this online experience is tailored for them by their governments.
On March 12th, World Day Against Cyber Censorship, we worked with Amnesty International and AdBlock to create 'Unblocker' - a project that turned the media usually blocked by AdBlock into a platform for influencers such as Edward Snowden and Ai Weiwei to share their take on cyber censorship with the world.
Our campaign hit 330,000,000 people in 48 hours and saw the highest web traffic in history to Amnesty International’s site.
