This is a simple story of a boy running home with a loaf of bread under his arm. The twist is that his journey takes him through all the major events of the last century or so – from the suffragettes and the First World War to the Blitz and the 80s Miners’ Strike. It’s an epic, covering the 122 years that Hovis has been baking its bread. And the moral of the story? That Hovis is ‘As good today as it’s always been’.
