Whopper Virgins

Award: Wood Pencil

Wood Pencil / Online Advertising / Digital Advertising Campaigns / 2009

Which tastes better, Whopper or Big Mac? To answer the age-old question once and for all, Burger King travelled to some of the remotest parts of the globe to conduct the world’s purest taste test. Only people who’d never eaten a burger could give an honest, unbiased opinion based on taste alone. Teaser TV, print and banners directed the curious to WhopperVirgins.com. Visitors saw just how far we were prepared to go to prove the universal appeal of the Whopper. Immediately, the internet and international media were buzzing with the news. After one week and countless blog comments and news stories, the online documentary disclosing the results debuted. New TV, print and banners announced its release.
