Gender norms surrounding exclamations haven't been pointed out—until now. On International Women’s Day, Yahoo will make exclamations unusable after “running out.” The next day, we’ll reveal why through an out-of-home and social media campaign.
Once we’ve made our point, we’ll bring it back. Alongside an ! counter, to serve as a reminder that women shouldn’t have to shout to be heard — no exclamation needed.
