The campaign ‘Bringing the Outside In’ is inspired by William Morris’s connection to nature, first nurtured in his childhood home in rural Walthamstow. He spent hours exploring his garden and Epping Forest, collecting plants and bringing them home to study and sketch—experiences that influenced his iconic textile and wallpaper designs. The solution uses Morris’s childhood home door and fanlight as a graphic device, revealing Morris & Co. designs through animation in an inviting way to engage a new audience. This encourages them to visit the newly launched website and embrace the beauty of nature indoors—‘bringing the outside in.’
