New Blood Entry — Meliorem

Set with the challenge of producing a game concept centred around climate change, I decided to turn the overwhelming issue on its head. In Meliorem, the player is the mayor of a town that hasn’t got the best attitude to climate change; but it’s your job to change that.
I wanted to create an experience that handled this prevalent issue in a fun, interactive way, whilst also being educational. Through actions made in the game, the player can take away things to apply to their own communities, such as biking to work and buying from sustainable brands; maybe without even knowing they’re doing it.
