Thabang Lehobye is Head of Design at FCB Joburg, a Visual Artist (to maintain sanity), Illustrator and an experimental animator. With a career spanning over 14 years, Thabang begun his journey at Ogilvy (Joburg) on brands such as Nike, GlaxoSmithKline, SAB, DSTV. Served at The Jupiter Drawing Room finessing his craft on Barclays, Absa, MTN, Edcon, Sasol, PPC, PowerFM to name few. He later joining FCB as a Senior Design working on Coca Cola, Fanta, Sprite, Toyota, Absa, Exclusive Books, Netflorist, Tiger brands, South African Tourism, Deboniars and Wimpy. A big fan of the legendary Milton Glaser’s “…There are three responses to a piece of design — yes, no, and WOW! Wow is the one to aim for.”
Thabang has been involved in campaigns awarded various accolades including Cannes Lion, D and AD, One Show, WPP’s Wipped Cream, Loeries, Pendorings awards at various agencies.
