Michael Salu is a creative director, artist and writer. He is the former creative director of Granta Publications during which the creative output of Granta magazine and Granta books picked up a number of awards and created a platform for emerging designers and artists, to showcase their work. Before that he undertook design and art direction for the literary division of Random House, working with a range of classic and contemporary literature including the likes of Dostoevsky and Vonnegut. He now runs multidisciplinary creative agency: http://salu.io/ producing creative ideas across digital, film and print.
Salu is also a writer and artist. His fiction, non fiction and art have been appeared in a range of publications including, The Short Anthology, Grey Magazine, Under the Influence magazine, granta.com and recently Tales of Two Cities, published by OR Books.. His latest work is a film entitled ‘Yesterday’.
