Hamish Goulding

Hamish Goulding

  • Group Head of Brand Strategy
  • United Kingdom

Hamish Goulding is the Group Head of Brand Strategy at HSBC. He’s been at the bank for 12 years and in that time worked on the last five global airport campaigns, various global sponsorship campaigns to support The British and Irish Lions, The Hong Kong 7s and Sevens World Series, HSBC Golf events in Shanghai and Singapore and Wimbledon. In 2017 he led the re-brand of the whole bank around the world, from the new logo to the iconic hexagon creative platform and out into local markets and campaigns.

Along the way he developed a sound identity with Jean-Michel Jarre and picked up a yellow pencil for a sound installation at Gatwick airport to amplify the HSBC water programme. Now focusing on brand strategy, he’s aspiring to help turn HSBC into a truly brand-centric organisation, playing out their competitive advantage across channels, lines of business and markets to drive real customer and commercial value. Hamish lives in south-east London with his wife, two young boys and dog noodle.
