President's Lecture: Margaret Calvert

A creative icon whose work is engrained in our daily lives, Margaret Calvert is responsible for you getting to work, school or home every day.

Calvert is a typographer and graphic designer, who is probably best known for her work with Jock Kinneir on the design of Britain's road signs — which are still in use today.
