SENIOR MARKETING CAMPAIGN MANAGER
Summary of position:
You will be responsible for project managing all marketing campaigns at D&AD with a top-level view to ensure D&AD customers receive timely, relevant, engaging communications. In addition to managing the production schedule for the team, you’ll be briefing, revising and approving creative with internal and external teams, consulting internally on targeting and timing strategies, working with Sales and PR functions to complement your campaigns and leading a team of three who will lead digital, social and retention-based campaign activities.
The position requires an exceptionally organised and experienced marketer who isn’t daunted by a complex project list and is capable of trafficking the deliverables successfully. However, account or production experience should be complemented by strong marketing skills, inspiring and producing great work within your own team that builds relationships and meets KPIs. Experience managing creative agencies is a must with written and verbal briefing, scoping, scheduling, budgeting, constructive feedback and supplier management all being a daily requirement.
The ideal candidate will be comfortable with digital and inbound marketing techniques in addition to more traditional approaches, have experience in either project management, production, client relations or trafficking in addition to leading marketing campaigns and be highly organised and efficient with experience in meeting deadlines. A strong preference would be for someone familiar with the creative industries, particularly the needs of students, professionals and freelancers in the design and advertising world.
- Project-manage the delivery of all Marketing programmes by arranging creative production through in-house and external agencies, audience capture lists through in-house Marketing Intelligence and execution through in-house Content, Creative and Digital Marketing expertise
- Plan and own an annual campaign calendar clearly identifying key activities and milestones
- Develop a tactical approach to promote D&AD products/awards communications to relevant audiences using a variety of short-term campaigns, evergreen programmes and triggered activities
- Lead a team of three, including a Manager of Digital Marketing, Membership Retention and Loyalty Manager (including account servicing) and Executive of Engagement
