The Met Police asked for help devising ways to deal with rising low-level violence amongst young people in London.
The main cause of violence is anger. Anger is a chemical reaction in our body. It only takes 90 seconds for those chemicals to leave our system. We partnered with the National Literacy Trust to tailor a simple Take:90 message for schools.
A long copy poster that takes 90 seconds to read, showing Take:90 as a simple tool to de-escalate anger before it leads to actions one may regret. These were distributed to over 70 schools, just before the new school year started.
