This video depicts life in the nondescript Norfy, California, all of which is observed from satellite images. Throughout the video, the viewer remains largely removed from the object of his or her gaze. As the cursor moves the "street view" farther along, the viewer sees instances of police brutality, a sidewalk vigil, and fights being recorded by bystanders on their iPhones. Violence is treated with the same nonchalance as dancing and Staples jamming with his friends in Ramona Park.
